Family Konnect believes every child, youth, and young adult has the potential to recuperate from the experience of loss at many times at no fault of their own. As, we all experience loss in one form of another, through adult role models, we will offer the interventions of support for every child, youth, and young adult to have the potential to become a productive member of their family, school, and community.
Family Konnect established a foundation for programming for Summit County in January 2017. Family Konnect, LLC alongside sister agent Family Konnect, INC. (501c3) was established in the State of Ohio to support the efforts of community collaboration. Family Konnect was originally established in March 2012 in Denver, Colorado to provide Family Konnect program services. The formation of this organization resulted for the successful completion of a Family Konnect pilot project conducted from November 2011 to January 2012 for the Denver Department of Human Services.
Family Konnect believes in wrapping community around families, and families (supports) around youth.

The Family Konnect program works to:
Help teens establish and/or maintain permanent family connections and teach life planning goals that affect their plans for a family and decision making skills that affect stability and vocational options;
Integrate two major tasks of adolescents: from Bridges and Barriers to Self-Reliance and Empowerment by preparing teen’s self-development and the world of work.
